SPARC, a full-service software development company based in Charleston, recently announced a partnership with Ulitix, a company from Newport, South Wales that provides data analytics solutions. The organizations will be working together to bring SPARC’s employee engagement and culture management software, Teamphoria, to the UK market.
SPARC knows a thing or two about company culture and employee engagement. Along with the incredible pace of their growth, SPARC has gained attention for their award-winning company culture, which puts “People First, First.” Rather than offices and walls, their workspace has Nerf guns, 60” TVs, RC cars and copters, and a “no two bad days in a row” policy. The result: a three-year growth of 12,862.5% that put their 2012 revenue over $21 million and ranked them as the #1 fastest-growing software company in the United States by Inc. 500.
With Teamphoria, SPARC draws from their own experience to help organizations create, measure, and maintain an effective workplace culture. The platform features channels for transparent communication and feedback, real-time insight into team members’ morale and performance, a recognition program to acknowledge employees’ good work, and plenty more.
The partnership with Ulitix serves two important purposes for Teamphoria: market access in the UK, and access to Ulitix’s expertise in data analytics. Andrew Strickland, Teamphoria Product Owner, explained, “We are confident that Ulitix will bring exciting new developments to the table with Teamphoria. We were specifically drawn to their partnership because of their entrepreneurial spirit and innovative ideas.”
Describing the software’s potential in the UK, Hemmit Kerrai, Director & Founder of Ulitix, said, “Teamphoria shows great promise in a market that’s still nascent with opportunities. Compared to its competitors, Teamphoria offers more of the functionality that enterprises are looking for. The fact that a manager can gain insight regarding recognition, streamline communication, and monitor performance levels in one place is highly advantageous for our clients.”
For many organizations, corporate values are either taken for granted or ignored, and corporate culture is an abstract concept that gets little attention from leaders. But SPARC has proved that an exceptional work culture can bolster huge results. With Teamphoria, they plan to get other organizations thinking about culture too. And now that SPARC has partnered with Ulitix, we can expect Teamphoria to transform workplaces on both sides of the Atlantic.
