Are you a company actively looking for funding? You have a shot to walk away with a $100,000 investment at the inaugural Charleston Angel Conference. The event will bring accredited investors and emerging companies together on October 19 and November 5, 2016.
Through the two-day conference, accredited investors will create an entity, engage in due diligence of the applying emerging companies, and ultimately an investment of $100,000 will be made into one of the presenting finalists. Interested or active angel investors will gain exposure to the process of angel investing and interact with several companies looking for investment.
“This is going to be a unique spin on how these pitch and demo days and conferences have gone,” says Charleston Angel Conference founder, John Osborne. “There’s a lot of activity in the startup scene in Charleston. What we haven’t seen is the next level of engagement from the angel investment community. This conference is going to be a very entry-level, easy way for someone who might be interested as an angel investor to get involved.”
