E-Commerce Agency Blue Acorn Acquired by Beringer Capital

Charleston-based digital commerce agency Blue Acorn has been acquired by Beringer Capital, a leading private equity firm focused on digital media and marketing services, for an undisclosed sum.

The partnership will infuse Blue Acorn with new resources to accelerate the growth and innovation of its technology and services for brands and retailers. Together, Beringer Capital and Blue Acorn will power the next generation of customer-centric commerce design and experiences. Blue Acorn’s management retains a significant equity interest in the company.

Following the acquisition, the Blue Acorn team will continue to operate independently under Eichelberger’s leadership.
