Launchpeer, a Charleston, SC-based consultancy that builds startups through a unique startup-as-a-service model, announced its expansion in Charleston’s West Ashley neighborhood.
The move more than triples their physical footprint; after quickly outgrowing from their current 1200 square-foot space on Markfield Drive, Launchpeer will relocate to a nearly 4000 square-foot space at 873 Orleans Road. This new location features an open floor plan, large co-working bullpen, break room, two private offices, and a conference room.
At 23 employees and counting, the expansion also enables Launchpeer to fulfill plans to hire an additional 7-10 employees over the coming months. With workspace for up to 50 total team members, Launchpeer is situated for long-term growth in the Charleston area.
Says Co-Founder and CEO Jake Hare, “The new space will enable us to hire new tech talent and meet the demand we’re seeing from our growing customer base.”
Approximately 1500 square feet of the space will be dedicated to hosting weekly and monthly events for the Charleston tech community, ranging from small group workshops to 200-person talks and networking opportunities.
Adds Hare, “We’re also excited to connect further with the startup community in the Southeast and Charleston specifically, by regularly hosting events, workshops, and seminars geared toward helping entrepreneurs and business owners.”
Members of the Charleston entrepreneurial community can check out the space during the inaugural Launch Summit, the first virtual conference dedicated solely to early-stage entrepreneurs. Launchpeer plans to host on-site viewing events throughout the week of the Summit.
Launchpeer works hands-on with early-stage businesses and non-technical entrepreneurs, providing software development, graphic design, and marketing assistance to achieve growth, obtain capital, and increase revenue.
